Job Description

The Account Manager is the representative of the assigned accounts within Euro RSCG. The Account Manager manages a portfolio of the largest accounts, for major high-profile clients and top business leaders; while dealing with all aspects of a campaign; using an existing network of industry contacts to generate revenue; leading and training other members of the account team and managing the work of account executives.


Client Contact and negotiation

  • Maintain and expand client relationships and build on more leads with the brand
  • Follow up client’s business culture, products, historical activity and competitors, leading to proactive thinking about client’s business opportunities
  • Discuss with clients and other sources the products to be advertised and obtain relevant information from clients such as product and company details, budget and marketing goals and marketing research
  • Develop marketing activities, marketing strategies, plans and new concepts and ideas to the clients in order to improve the relations with them and to increase the business portfolio and services
  • Meet clients for briefings and present proposals, campaign strategy and creative work along with a summary of the expenditure involved for approval or modification
  • Manage the day-to-day client’s business to meet marketing objectives and to help set measurable metrics for success, taking more full ownership on larger and more-complex deals
  • Develop client relationship by serving as a key internal and external contact for project status and workflow.
  • Deal with clients, to maintain goodwill and promote business, to address and resolve problems and to discuss advertising campaigns
  • Be fully hands on with the clients needs, information on the brand and the market.


Account preparation and administration

  • Identify up-sell opportunities to drive additional revenue beyond original contracted amount; take share of spend from competitors during the campaign with short-term and ongoing inventory avails and sponsorship
  • Develop, manage project plans and logistical project details and coordinate project timing and budgets with all relevant agency personnel
  • Determine client advertising campaign requirements by utilizing product or service knowledge, marketing research, media capabilities, and audience characteristics
  • Evaluate, adjust, and redirect advertising campaigns by studying and analyzing sales results, demographics, customer satisfaction and other market research information
  • Analyze campaign performance, key learnings and program success in meeting objectives
  • Evaluate advertising against the brief and the clear understanding of Brand Vision and its implementation
  • Control the overall budget of costs for Creative Development
  • Coordinate and prepare plan for each account to meet their requirement
  • Oversee preparation of status reports, contact reports, invoice procedures
  • Understand the entire creative process in order to track all possible work flows, contribute to and support the development of creative work
  • Implement the agency strategies to maintain and/or expand business and advertising leads within an assigned brands/ products
  • Deal with all aspects of a campaign, expedite deliverables and ensure deadlines, cost and quality parameters are met
  • Utilize research tools to support plan recommendations and provide competitive spending analysis
  • Input RFP responses into internal systems, client external templates and planning systems
  • Ensure asset collection and on-time campaign launch working with clients and Launch & Trafficking team
  • Determine optimization strategy based on targeting and creative to increase advertiser effectiveness in achieving brand awareness
  • Forecast the demand for products and contribute to the quarterly and annual business forecasting by providing account trends and sharing future client needs
  • Prepare and conduct technical/product presentations and demonstrations


Team Management and department coordination

  • Develop and maintain professional and cordial relations with Team members to ensure a high level of professional service and a positive atmosphere in the office ensuring that the team builds excellent relationships with internal and external parties based on co-operation and respect for all cultures and nationalities
  • Help and manage the Account Executives in their daily task and ensure that they get all the client detail and they are updated on daily basis
  • Help facilitate team meetings, team communications, trainings and career development
  • Collaborate with Finance to manage the credit check process and settle billing disputes
  • Work with Delivery Team to monitor campaign delivery and contract compliance, ensuring full revenue recognition and client objective success
  • Work collaboratively with Account Management, Strategy Development and Sales teams to develop timely, strategic media recommendations via request for proposal (RFP) response and presentations
  • Coordinate with the media planner to prepare schedules for publishing advertisements
  • Coordinate with creative services, production and media services to ensure that advertising materials are created, produced and published as per client’s requirements
  • Attend all possible meetings to ensure smooth communication on all ends
  • Control the production & traffic techniques with direct involvement in TVC production - e.g. preparing for & running PPM’s.


  • University degree in Business, Marketing or Advertising
  • Min. 3 years previous experience within an agency
  • Team leadership: experience of people management
  • Excellent communication, presentation and client relationship management
  • Ideally Turkish language
