As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our client's performance chemicals to the UK and Irish textile industry to maximise profitability, brand awareness and new business opportunities. This will include offering technical advice to external customers and internal staff to effectively aid the generation of new customer accounts, in line with key business objectives.
You will also ensure customer records are maintained and communicate with trade bodies regarding our client's new innovations and processes. Liaising with our client's Mother Company or the MD, you will also be tasked with developing new ideas and processes and formulating new company brochures dependent on the marketing process.
- Previous account management experience
- Proven technical sales experience
- Knowledge of silicone resin or polymers
- A full driving licence
As an Account Manager, you must have strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with both customers and colleagues. Self-motivated and target-driven, you must have the desire to meet and exceed targets and be able to plan and prioritise your workload effectively.
