We're looking for an experienced Accounting professional/Financial Comptroller who can contribute their skills to effectively deliver updates and reports in terms of Financial and Sales standings of the company. Someone who is willing to grow with the company and contribute further ways to improve processes.

Responsibilities

Accounting:

• General Bookkeeping
• Prepare and transact with suppliers and staff payroll
• Prepare and send out payslips electronically
• Invoice clients and maintain invoicing schedules as directed
• Close maintenance of aged receivables, and follow up with clients regarding account dues via email and phone
• Liaise with clients in regards to disputes, alterations and other details about their invoices
• Manage staff obligations: payroll, expenses, incentive/bonuses
• Prepare and manage Financial Analysis reports
• Reconcile the company's book/ledger
• General Administrative tasks associated with maintaining a smooth business operation

Regular Financial Reporting:

• Statement of Financial Position
• Prepare BAS Statement/Report 
• Profit and Loss Statements 
• Statement of Cash flows
• Assist in sales forecasting by collaborating with the team to set ideal targets based on current Financial status

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience performing the Full Accounting cycle
• Experience working with Australian companies or clients would be highly regarded
• At least 4-5 years experience in relevant or equivalent position(s) as a Bookkeeper or Accountant
• Capable of giving sound advises to the CEO and Sales team in terms of targets to be set based on Financial/Sales reports
• Generally tech and internet savvy
• Expert Excel skills including advanced financial modelling skills – using excel
• Strong English skills, particularly communicating through email, and for regular phone calls with clients
• Very high attention to detail and accuracy
• Very structured and organized, able to organize own workload and create organized
processes for efficient management of bookkeeping, invoicing and payments
• Mature, able to work independently and able to take ownership of these responsibilities,
largely working without day-to-day direction
• Amenable working on the required processes on your own until such time that further team members will be in place or required
• Works quickly and productively, focused on getting results
• Happy to work on other projects where required
