Provides level 2 support to Enterprise Content Management Tools like SharePoint, Documentum, Project Server, OnDemand, etc. The primary focus of this position will be to support SharePoint
Delivers operational support processes and business solutions for Content Management
Research and provides workarounds on SharePoint site/platform related issues
Works with supplier groups within ITC such as Commercial Services, server, storage, database and active directory as well as partners and technology suppliers outside Chevron.
Works with security and information protection group to ensure that products remain fully compliant.
Understands how products support business functions to ensure that their requirements are satisfied.
Operates within service level agreements.
Understands and executes the team's incident, change, release and configuration management processes.
Develop new & maintain existing Knowledge Base article
3-5 years of professional application support experience, preferably in SharePoint or server-based application administration
A good understanding of SharePoint governance, good practice and importance is required
The ability to design SharePoint architecture and configure SharePoint solutions using out of the box SharePoint functionality.
A good knowledge of Microsoft products would be beneficial.
Ability to troubleshoot, investigate and resolve technical issues
Ability to react quickly and effectively to issues and opportunities
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop an effective working relationship with personnel from other cultures and backgrounds, high level of customer service and follow-up skills required.
Ability to organize, and prioritize tasks and work under pressure during troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Understanding of SharePoint platform hosting models and environments
Good website development skills
