Job Description

As a Marketing manager, you are a fully dedicated business leader, shaping the future of one of our many Google products. Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (AdWords, AdSense, DoubleClick, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. The role enables you to shape the product development process, organize product launches from beginning to end and form future marketing strategy.

As an Associate Product Marketing Manager in the SMB (Small and Medium-sized Businesses) Marketing team, you will focus on helping SMBs get online and succeed online through Google+ Pages and other products. You are interested in marketing and technology, and passionate about helping businesses across more than 20 EMEA markets thrive online using Google’s tools. This is a position for someone who enjoys testing and experimenting with ways to reach and engage SMBs, managing projects across functions and geographies and delivering strong scalable results, both for customers and for the business.


  • Lead design and execution of effective, scalable marketing programmes for driving SMB acquisition and engagement across EMEA markets.
  • Drive rigorous tracking and analysis of marketing programmes results, and incorporate learnings into the marketing strategy and share best practices across geographies and products.
  • Acquire and disseminate insights on product, market, and media channel developments and opportunities.
  • Communicate strategy and results to regional and cross-functional stakeholders across Google.
  • Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree. In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of SMB target audience, Google and competitor services for online and social advertising solutions for SMBs.
  • Understanding of strategic planning and impact measurement of marketing campaigns, excellent analytical skills.
  • Outstanding organisational and project management skills, strong written and oral communication skills.
