Job Description

    Will be responsible for the smooth running of the end-to-end taafoo physical boutique operations and ensuring financial targets are achieved.


    Achieve financial objectives of the boutique operations.

    Develop and assist with growth of the boutique operations.

    Ensure resource required for smooth operations are available and optimally allocated.

    Work with marketing to ensure adequate foot traffic in the boutiques.

    Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales volumes to maximize profits.

    Identify fast-moving, slow-moving merchandise.

    Identify fashion trends and recommend to buyers.

    Ensure availability of the right merchandise and services to reduce the dependency of boutique on warehousing and also drive volume sales.

    Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing.

    Maintain boutique teams by assisting with recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees.

    Identify current and future customer requirements.

    Assist with pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities, determining additional needed sales promotion; authorizing clearance sales; studying trends.

    Secure merchandise by recommending and implementing security systems and measures.

    Liaise with other teams to ensure smooth running of the boutique operations.

    Provide a safe and clean boutique environment.

    Design, recommend and implement boutique layout principles to maximize boutique traffic and grow sales volumes.

    Manage and motivate boutique team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.

    Respond to customer complaints and comments.

    Tour the boutique floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying or resolving urgent issues.

    Initiate changes to improve the business.

    Develop solutions to enable customers easily choose & pair items.


    Minimum of 2-3 year working experience in similar role.

    Experience in an apparel retail environment.

    Computer literate - strong Excel and Database Management skills.

    Good planning, organizational & communication skills.
