THE ROLE OF A BURSAR IN AN OFFICE
IN Oversees the overall operations of an organization financial services,
Billing and receivables, and cashiering functions of clients. Provides direction and leadership in financial management, fiscal policies review and changes. Ensures compliance with the local, state, and federal regulations and standard accounting procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department.
