The key objective of this position is to improve the reporting processes between Cambridge University Press and the societies. This is a very important responsibility as Cambridge Journals now works with over 150 societies and is looking to expand further. Not only will the successful candidate be responsible for societies but they will also be responsible for implementing a new process to report on the profitability of all journal titles, which sits roughly at 322, for internal use.
This role will work closely with internal accounting staff to provide regular training on the new reporting structures and with the Directors of other teams to report back Academic review. You will also be required to work on other projects within the Press where society reporting is required.
Ideally the successful candidate will have had experience of working in a similar publishing stream previously and essentially needs to be highly experienced in working in a commercial accountant environment.
