Job Description

Parsons Brinckerhoff is seeking a Business Development Coordinator for their Quality Services Department responsible for Business Development Coordination.


  Reporting / Schedules:
  • Update proposal register with Wins & Losses & Comments
  • Keep up to date lists of Blacklisted Clients and Debtor Clients
  • Maintain Clients Vendor Number list
  • Update Tender Loss Reports
  • Update Vendor Details Report
  • Assisting in maintaining Client Service Delivery Satisfaction Surveys Report
  • Update Conversion Rate (Win/Loss) Report
  • Updating information and opportunities on CRM system on behalf of the Business Development Specialist
  • Assist in all branding and marketing
  Major Job Activities:
  • Ensure that all documentation for tender submissions are kept up to date and available
  • Manage all aspects of print production, receipt and distribution of Marketing Material
  • Act as custodian for company branding to ensure compliance and that updates are always implemented, as instructed by the Business Development Specialist.
  • Coordinate production of, and drafting of low level proposals, bid material including Cv’s, project sheets, capability statements, lessons learned documents
  • Answer and route enquiries from customers and prospective customers as and when needed
  • Assisting the Business Development Specialist with client presentations in line with brand guidelines
  • Prepare quotes and proposals upon request from the Business Development Specialist
  • Assist in co-ordinating and managing various marketing, advertising and client related activities for the Quality services Division
  • Assist in maintaining, manage and administer information systems and documentation supporting the company’s business development activities
  • Planning and scheduling of client meetings for the Business Development Specialist
  • Follow up NCRs
  • Chase up on pending proposals and tenders
  • Submit and track Credit Application Forms
  • Actioning of orders
  • Assist in debt recovery & collection
  • Submit and track Client Service Delivery Satisfaction Surveys
  • Manage a client base
  • Attend Client meetings when required
  • Other general office and business development support duties as and when required
  Contact with other staff & customers:
  • Liaise with other departments within the Quality Services Division
  • Liaise with personnel in Parsons Brinckerhoff Head Office
  • Liaise with Clients
  • Liaise with Suppliers
