Job Description

The main purpose of this position is responsible for business derived through travel trade - locally and internationally under the general guidance and supervision of Head and Assistance Head of Department.


• Attending regular internal meetings to discuss segment related information
• Maintaining market profitability in all revenue areas of the hotel-accommodation, Food & Beverage, Conference & Banqueting, Spa.
• Maintaining a dynamic communication structure within the department, within the hotel, Regional Sales Office (RSO) and the Regional Gulf Office
• Attending sales trips and workshops regionally and internationally as maybe needed
• Ensuring all areas of the segment - contracting, allocations, materialization reports, override agreements etc are covered in the segment action plan
• Understanding the role, Allocations and materialisation and makes recommendation for contracting
• Proactive in identifying new sources of business while ensuring business from existing clients are maximised.
• Maintaining a complete understanding and complies with the hotels policies and procedures, particular in relation to security, health & safety and hygiene
• Maintaining knowledge of all Jumeirah properties for cross selling as well as the competitors' offers and tactical
• Handling tasks assigned by Director or Associate Director


Candidate must have at a least bachelor's degree in business management and have a minimum of 3 year's sales experience in luxury 5* Hospitality sales or conference & events.
You should also have a thorough knowledge of the hospitality industry, including distribution and purchasing channels, corporate end-users and competitors

You will have good administration, communication, time management and organizational skills, as well as the capability to multi task and have strong attention to detail.

You will also be a team player with effective analytical skills. Your interpersonal and customer service ability will be excellent.
