The job holder is required to develop and manage the implementation of all external projects/ventures across the dnata Travels Network. Ensure all the internal communication and co-ordination between dnata brands and its divisions are maintained and their support mustered and the same implemented across the business.
You will also be required to assist the Manager Regional, in the research for establishing dnata Travel in the new and developing markets and also support in exploring merger and acquisition opportunities for the existing projects/ventures to increase the market share.
In order to apply for this role, you must have the following:
- Graduate with in-depth knowledge of all fields within the travel industry. Preferably having worked in both the operations as well, as the sales and marketing within an Airline, Hotel or service industries
- 8 years of travel industry experience of which at least 5 years should preferably be in a project managerial capacity having been exposed to regional markets and development / deployment of product and services in a regional / international environment, or in mid to senior management capacity
- Knowledge of advanced industry practices, including the operating knowledge of systems, processes & procedures, both back and front office operations of airlines /Travel Agencies. Also must possess advanced skills in negotiation, key account management. Ability to understand different customer groups needs and translate those into workable solutions suitable to all customer groups and always in the best interest of the business.
