The Senior Business Development Manager for EMEA region based In the UK (we maybe open to other european locations) is responsible for building relationships and driving Broadcom’s technology agenda with key Operators and Ecosystem partners in the EMEA region, including developing engagement strategies to leverage these relationships. The initial charter for the candidate will be to develop and expand existing relationships with key Telco-, Sat-, Cable- Operators and ISPs such as BT, TalkTalk, etc. as well as Ecosystem partners in the STB field like M/W providers.
The Senior Business Development Manager will leverage these relationships to achieve the following
1. Collecting Field Intelligence and feeding it to the appropriate
Product Lines and stakeholders at BRCM
2. Developing the Broadcom Brand and Mindshare with Ecosystem
3. Aligning Engagements between various Broadcom Product Lines and
4. Support Sales with Ecosystem Intelligence and help them
influence design win activity wherever required
Engineering degree in electronics or communications
8 years or more experience preferably in a sales or marketing position for semiconductors or Telecommunications equipment.
Network extensively and build a strong contact database within the defined Ecosystem.
Ability to build exec relationships with Ecosystem Partners is a must
Become an expert on relevant Broadcom Product Areas & Drive
Alignment & Engagement Success Criteria with Ecosystem Partners.
Stay Current with Sales Engagements where Ecosystem
Intelligence/Influence is Required and Partner with Sales team on Identified Opportunities.
Experience in Strategic Marketing/Sales a must
Strong Relationship Building skills
Experience in negotiating contracts.
Strong technical background in Systems/HW+SW
Experience in Telecommunications Networking Infrastructure, Telecommunications End User Equipment and Consumer
Equipment like Set-Top-Boxes and previous experience working with Carriers/Service Providers.
Fluent in English
