Job Description

  • Identifies new customers and projects across Industrial sector (Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution, Mining, Rail, Manufacturing, Water/Sewage Treatment & Reticulation, Automation)
  • Develops presence and projects business nationally – both directly with end users and within the consultant channel
  • Implement the company’s sales plans (eg account coverage, seminars, commercial strategy)
  • Facilitates quote/tender response by the Presales team
  • Completes internal reporting (monthly orders forecasts; sales activity)
  • Provides proactive feedback on market and competitor activity
  • Provides leadership to the local team and act as the senior interface with operational staff within the business Key Performance Measures
  • Orders intake & sales against assigned targets
  • New customer acquisition
  • Quote volume & win rates


  • Proven projects sales experience within the industrial electrical infrastructure market - Electrical / Electronic background / qualification
  • Strong customer service ethics
