Qualifications, knowledge and skills:

  • Excellent comportment, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Highly organised, results oriented and able to manage own workload
  • Field sales or bookselling experience
  • A flexible and proactive attitude
  • Excellent numeracy and experience of using internal systems and databases
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the operations of a bookstore and inventory management or willingness to learn
  • Intermediate level user of Microsoft office and a confident and competent interest in social media as a potential sales platform.
  • Willingness to travel to different States in the South-West
