Job Description

  • Assist BD Team in identifying, evaluating and developing potential new business opportunities across all current and potential markets / industries that the Company has an interest in.
  • Support the BD Team with the development of potential business opportunities and strategic alliances by conducting sales and marketing calls to book meetings with potential clients, sending follow-up marketing materials and making follow-up monthly calls to establish relationships
  • Maintain the BD pipeline of potential contracts on behalf of the BD Team
  • Support business development activities and identification of new business opportunities through maintenance and management of high level relationships with existing clients and partners
  • Update the Select Auto Customer Relationship Management (CRM) on a regular basis
  • Lead on vendor registration in other territories / other client base
  • Manage the marketing portfolio (including all forms of media such as, but not restricted to industry or geographic specific publications, website, events, etc.) through management of budget, allocation of resources, co-ordination of events, advertorial and advertising collateral.
  • Identify new technologies to improve customer satisfaction and relationships.
  • Support the BD and Bid Teams by providing required information during BD and Bid Win activity such as RFP documents, approved Capture (Sales) Strategy, partnership agreements, market analysis and intelligence and other requirements
  • Research and provide ongoing high grade commercial intelligence to Company's strategic decision makers and contribute to identification & introduction of international best practices and concepts through study market conditions
  • Engage with Select Auto Dubai HQ as required and provide necessary reports, analysis and documentation on opportunities and the market
  • Assist GM Commercial on developing an oil and gas propositions


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Technical Discipline related to the company’s core activities
  • 3-5 Years GCC experience in Business Development, ideally in the Oil & Gas sector
  • Willingness to travel to austere locations when necessary 
  • Documented success in supporting teams with a client base within the Oil and Gas, EPC and governments is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of clients and market
  • Ideally bilingual in English and Arabic
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Research & analytical skills
  • UAE driving license & car is essential
