Job Description

As a Procurement Process Analyst, the ideal candidate will perform non-routine, moderately complex assignments. Maintain, update and improve vendor database. Research processes, analyze data and develop recommendations. Research and resolve vendor certification in cooperation with subcontract administrators. The Procurement Process Analyst will provide data and document retrieval to support audits, process subcontract closeout documentation, identify problems, possible solutions and take appropriate resolving action.


-Must be able to perform all assigned tasks in a safe manner.
-Employee may be exposed to repetitive motion injuries due to keyboarding or to cuts and bruises due to typical office accidents.
-Employee is regularly required to use computer and office equipment and to use hands to type, manipulate, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; and hear.
-Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 5KG and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20KG.
-The noise level in the work environment is typical of most office environments with telephones, personal interruptions, and background noises.
-Employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and in writing and use interpersonal skills.
-Employee is regularly required to prioritize, multitask, analyze, interpret, coordinate, compile, evaluate, synthesize, compute, problem solve, concentrate, and think critically.
-Work is regularly assigned byself, supervisor, and departmental staff.
-Employee is regularly required to exercise prudent judgment, decision making, and analytical skills to determine manner and operational steps necessary to properly handle inquiries and perform daily tasks within professional standards.


College degree in business or database management
Current and daily experience with Excel
Experience in database management
Experience in accounting principles, practices, and procedures of business transactions

External Preferred Qualifications
BS in Business, Finance, or Accounting
Excellent communication skills
