As part of the team you will be required to work on business projects primarily for Peterborough but also including Stafford (UK), Curitiba (Brazil), Griffin (US) and Wuxi (China). The role will include all aspects of business systems, technical and software analysis and development to deliver business projects. It will also include providing 3rd line support for any of the systems covered.
You may have the opportunity to travel to different sites to complete projects and you will also operate within global matrix teams who will provide functional project support for specialised areas such as servers, network, Manufacturing, Finance, etc.
Upon completion of the year you will have experience and knowledge of business processes, Information Systems project delivery, support, customer communication and focus, the appreciation of the benefits of standardised business processes and specialised expertise in some areas within one of the world's largest engineering corporations.
Knowledge and genuine interest in business information systems is essential. You should be motivated and quality driven, able to work independently using initiative within defined areas. Skills in software/technical development using logical methodologies as well as the ability to interact with people from the business at all levels would be advantageous.
