GPP/CFO/01- Chief Finance Officer
Our client requires the services of a Chief Financial Officer with a minimum of 10 years cognate experience; 6 years of which must be at management level. Candidates must possess an in-depth knowledge of leading or managing financial/accounting/audit teams in a fast passed multi cultural environment, deep understanding of communication across functional departments and clients in the printing industry.
The candidate must be exposed to the manufacturing industry and must be self driven, assertive and exposed to cross cultural operations. He/she must be able to manage pressure as regards getting to meet deadlines and must have a responsive approach and the ability to influence others.
The incumbent will be responsible for the preparation of monthly Financial report, financial modeling, managing the finance department, tax management, financial strategy, tax returns, budgeting, timely preparation of financial and management reports, assist management implementation and monitoring of stocks, spare parts and pricing. Supervise the preparation of weekly/monthly financial data,
Revenue costs and vetting of general ledger entries, voucher management, sales tracking & financial reporting, loan management, internal control & payroll, tax update.
Candidate must possess the ability to lead, develop financial models and execute within the business strategy. Creation of management accounts books, audit readiness processes and accounts team development is vital. The candidate must be able to work effectively with the Microsoft office, especially Ms Word, PowerPoint, Excel and must be familiar with Peach tree, sage and must ensure accounting reports drives management decisions.
A first degree in Accounting/ Financial management or Business administration is required with professional certificates and membership in ACCA, ICAN, ACA or CPA. A MBA or other post graduate qualifications is an added advantage.
