Our client, a leading mortgage and finance company is seeking to strengthen its business operations across its regions and distribution networks in Nigeria. Consequently, the organization aims to engage self-driven, experienced and motivated individuals to asist with the expansion strategy. The ideal candidates for these positions should be from the middle to senior management level staff with requisite hands-on experience and proven track records in the mortgage industry.
The COO supports the work of the company's chief executive officer focusing on the establishment and optimization of day-to-day operations in the company. All internal department heads responsible for delivering services report to the COO
- A university degree in Economics, Banking and Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or any other related discipline with relevant professional certification (ACIB, ACA, ACCA, ICMA, CIMA). A post graduate degree (MBA, MSc) will be an added advantage
- 10 years + relevant experience in Operations, 7 of which must be at senior management level
- Extensive knowledge of project/business risk management, understanding financial instruments, setup and implementing underwriting policies and procedures, implementing bank/investment banking operations policies and procedures
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, i.e. MS Word, Excel, (Finance application experience an advantage)
