The responsibility to provide client valuations in a timely manner & provide first class client service in the resolution of subseqeuent queries.
The responsibility to compile and deliver client valuations in a timely manner for a range of products including FX Forwards, Interest Rate Swaps, X-ccy Swaps, CDS Structured Products (Rates, Credit & GELP).
Respond to client queries in a timely manner, ensuring the highest standards in client service.
Assist in the development and build of a standardised global process for the delivery of client valuation statements across all asset classes.
Participate in the maintenance and development of the Client Valuations Dodd Frank regulatory solution.
Develop & maintain relationships with RBC Capital Markets focus clients.
Develop & maintain relationships with key internal clients such as Sales, Trading & the IT data providers.
Proactively identify and deliver improvements to the client valuation process and to standardise and improve the control framework used for the valuation process.
Ensure that the Client Valuations Standing Order is correctly applied throughout the Client Valuations process.

The scope of the role is to manage the daily client valuation production and query management process.
Reports to Associate Director of Client Valuations
Interaction with the business (sales), Finance, Valuations Group and Market Risk staff in London, New York and Toronto

EDUCATION &/OR EXPERIENCE:
Educated to degree level is preferred but not essential, of particular interest would be Quantitative, Finance and/or Economics based degrees.
The role requires familiarity and understanding of Derivative products. It does not require quantitative product pricing knowledge, but the ideal candidate should have the aptitude/ability to learn & understand complex valuations.
Track record of providing first class service to a range of internal and external clients.
Requires attention to detail and accuracy. Gaps in this can cause significant reputational risk hence loss of business.
Strong client service skills including excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues to leverage knowledge and expertise.
Ability to work under pressure against unmovable deadlines.
Work as a team player helping to provide cover, support and training for other team members.
Ability to interact with a trading room environment, Operations, Product Control, Market Risk, Sales and Clients.
Project management skills: required to participate in projects that impact the client valuations area.
Strong VBA skills are essential.
