This role will be responsible for coordinating the strategic commercial activities of the company and lead the commercial team towards developing new marketing initiatives which would have positive impact on the bottom line.
This is a management position and the Business Development managers will report directly to the Head of Commercial Division.
Execution of the company’s business plan that outlines key initiatives associated with revenue growth, profitability and expense control.
Responsible for assigned group of appointed brokers/agents as well as appoint new brokers/agents to drive new business production, key-account retention, new product roll-out and large account prospecting.
Prepares and delivers sales preparation/training and follows up with key decision makers.
Develops and maintains an awareness of market behaviour and competitive trends and responds accordingly.
Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of the company’s available services, lines of business, pricing structures and offers additional services as conjuction with assigned brokers/agents.
Regularly meets with sales managers for review of sales activities and results.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Suitable candidates should have obtained minimum of a B.Sc/HND.
Higher academic and/or professional qualification will be an advantage.
The ideal candidate should have 10 years high-net-worth financial services/personal products experience, including a proven track record in sales marketing
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, is key along with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Relationship with key customers/brokers/agents in the financial services industry.
Relevant professional qualification.
Good knowledge of the financial services industry.
