The Core Production Capability (CPC) programme includes a major project of site regeneration to replace existing facilities while continuing to maintain and operate core production in support of the UK submarine programme.
There are several opportunities for Commissioning Engineers to join the CPC Regeneration project that has now progressed to the first phase of construction.
Working with the PM, CTL, design, TA and operational areas, the commissioning engineer will for assigned areas:
o Define the commissioning logic.
o Specify the commissioning requirements.
o Prepare commissioning documentation
o Support vendors in preparation of commissioning test documents.
o Control documentation during commissioning activities, ensure appropriate SQEP sign off and withdraw/return to the Document Control Centre (DCC) in approved manner.
o Oversee and participate in commissioning activities.
o Identification and recording of Non-conformances during commissioning activities.
o Application of Temporary Commissioning Aids (TCA?s) and Temporary Software Modifications (TSM?s) in the approved manner.
o Familiarise vendors, manufacturing engineers and operators with commissioning requirements.
o Preparation of test result reports.
o Review of O&M manuals.
o Review of Maintenance Procedures.
o Final handover of assigned areas to operations.
