You will work to develop and implement ideas for the expansion of the economics list and commission new titles to grow the Cambridge brand worldwide.
Working with colleagues in production, marketing and sales, you will deliver integrated, cost-controlled and market–led publishing. In addition you will prepare sales budgets, supervise and manage the issuing of contracts and manage publishing projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
Considerable experience in academic book commissioning with a track record of successful acquisitions is desirable for this role, but candidates with relevant experience from a sales or marketing background would also be considered. You will be expected to demonstrate enthusiasm and knowledge of the academic economics market and the potential to develop the list in both print and digital formats.
