Job Description

The job description for the Company Secretary shall include the following:

  • convening and servicing annual general meetings (AGM)/meetings (producing agendas, taking minutes; conveying decisions etc.);
  • providing support to committees and working parties such as the Board of Directors etc;
  • implementing procedural/administrative systems;
  • handling correspondence before and after meetings;
  • writing reports;
  • collating information;
  • providing legal/financial advice during and outside of meetings.

 

Responsibilities

Qualifications and training required:

Minimum qualification of LLB, BL and FCIS.

Skills:- •Management and Administrative Skills •Management of Corporate Affairs •Company Secretarial Practice •Legal Advice, Arbitration, Mediation, Negotiation and Conciliation

Must be member of Institute of Chartered Secretaries and  Administrator.

Candidates should possess diplomacy, a meticulous attention to detail, good numerical, organizational and time management skills and a genuine interest in business.

 Excellent computing, secretarial, interpersonal, teamworking and (written/verbal) communication skills are also important.

Requirements

Qualifications and training required:

Minimum qualification of LLB, BL and FCIS.

Management and Administrative Skills. Management of Corporate Affairs.

Company Secretarial Practice Legal Advice, Arbitration, Mediation, Negotiation and Conciliation

Possession of membership certificate of Institute of Chartered Secretaries and  Administrator would be an added advantages.

Candidates should possess diplomacy, a meticulous attention to detail, good numerical, organizational and time management skills and a genuine interest in business.

Excellent computing, secretarial, interpersonal, teamworking and (written/verbal) communication skills are also important.
