Job Description

You will be responsible for working with Authors and Commissioning Editors to devise and execute development plans for assigned print or digital projects, approving author writing samples, working on all projects related to subject specialism, work with colleagues in all functions to inform the holistic product schedule and own and maintain writing, review, development schedules informing colleagues where updates to schedule are required.

 The successful candidate will demonstrate editorial development experience within a publishing company, typically educational publishing, have proven experience of coordinating rigorous content review, previous experience of developing/producing materials tailored to specific curriculum and previous experience of working with freelancers and project managing projects in and out of house.
