Reporting into the Continuous Improvement Manager, your main role will be to drive and lead the Continuous Improvement program for the Dubai factory to deliver end to end improvements in customer satisfaction, waste elimination, quality improvements, effectiveness, and cost reductions. You will establish and manage a rolling 3 year project and training calendar to enable delivering the factory's battle and operating plans in-line with the unit's goals and strategies.

You will also be responsible for the following:

  • Drive and execute the factory's Lean program (comprising of the Lean Enterprise Program and key improvement initiatives/projects as per unit's goals and strategy plans)
  • Coordinate resources allocation to implement the LEAN program
  • Create SMART KPI's to track and follow up on the success of implemented continuous improvement projects through the CI management process forum.
  • Deploy and drive CI mindset in the factory through the Lean program
  • Train and develop Kaizen capabilities through the Lean institute and Lean Enterprise Program
  • Establish and manage a rolling 3-years LEAN program
  • Lead factory implementation of PULL to market
  • Manage the factory's Kaizen process
  • Ensure CI projects are smoothly integrated with other business activities, improvement projects, and business strategy
  • Assist in facilitation of Lean workshops in the wider business as and when needs require
  • Facilitate and deliver Lean academy's and required Lean module as per the training calendar
  • Connect with the LEAN community in the region to align priorities, share best practice and to standardise ways of working
  • Requirements

    The successful candidate must hold a university degree with a minimum of 5 years experience within the manufacturing industry, where you have deployed Continuous Improvement programs.
    You must also hold a LEAN / Six sigma qualification to apply for this role.
