Job Description

Job Summary: The Candidates would be in charge of managing Company Contracts. Acting as the link between a company and its business equivalents, he ensures that the company he represents gains the most benefit from every contract. Since their job is also related to contractual breaches, they have to ensure the contracts that have been cleared by the legal department and executed with eternal parties are enforced to the letter, since the Company has a wide exposure with 3rd party businesses.

Duties and Responsibilites:

* Supervise activities related to contracts for buying or selling of equipment, products, or services.

* They check the operation requirements, schedules of delivery, and approximate costs of machinery, goods, and production to ensure that everything is complete and accurate.

* They are responsible for preparing bids, process qualifications, and test and progress reports.

* They analyze bids from other companies to ensure that contract requirements are followed and determine which bids are acceptable.

* They negotiate contract with clients or bidders. If there is a need for amendments or extension of contract, they either request for or approve them.

* He works closely with the planning and production departments by giving them advices on contractual rights and duties.

* They review the current contracts of the companies and will recommend the revision of contracts which are based on changes in business, government regulations, environmental laws or financial situations anyhow.

* They have to take care about the contracts so as to provide the suggestions and recommendations on contract renewals, modifications and cancellations and many more from time to time.

* Since their duty is related to legal work they have to coordinate with the Company's Legal Firm on propriety of corporate responses to issues arising from contractual obligations and try to solve them.

* They will have to be careful and always alert about the work so it is also their duty to provide the alerts to concerned departments in their contracts for compliance requirements on either side.

Educational Qualifications and Requirements

* LLB Degree


* HND or Bachelors Degree in any Legal, Administrative, Business, Management or Human Resource Field.

* A Certificate Course in Law or Project Management

* At least 3-5 years experience in a related field

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

* The Candidates should possess exceptional communication skills.

* They should be able to identify the short and long-term goals of a company.

* They must have the skill to coordinate with managers to review sourcing and contract strategies.

* Having a good decision making skill is a must because they have to resolve conflicts that may arise from any contract signed by the company. In this case, it is of utmost importance that they work closely with the Company's Lawyers.

Working Conditions: Although contract administrators typically work in an office setting, they are usually required to travel extensively to meet with clients and attend industry meetings. Sometimes work load and plant conditions require that they work longer hours even during weekends and holidays. Because this job is highly demanding and deadline-oriented, the Candidates need to be very flexible and must be able to work well even under extreme pressure.
