Overall Purpose of the Role
Reporting directly to the Operations Administration Manager, the overall purpose of the role is to provide Order Management and Project Support to the Sales & Operations Group.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Ø Perform Order Management of Project, Spares, Services & Training orders using JDE & Oracle Business Systems.
Ø Coordinate with EEEC & SAG for Project/Order processing in a timely manner as per requirements.
Ø Perform Trade Compliance Gatekeeper activities like MK data screening & order review on TRAX. Refer to Job Responsibilities of Gatekeeper JD-GK-EPM-011 for more details.
Ø Review Orders and inform Sales/Projects on any discrepancies (checkpoint documents, trade compliance documents, legal documents etc.).
Ø Provide day to day support to Projects group using JDE/Oracle Business systems e.g. Project setup, Closing, Change orders, Cost reports, Material status etc.
Ø Prepare Monthly Project, Services, Training Invoicing, Sales & Order reports.
Ø Prepare Monthly Sales Forecast e.g. Backlog/POR
Ø Prepare invoicing of Projects, Spares, Service & Training orders including backup documents.
Ø Manage Intercompany & Buyout ordering of Project/Spare materials & follow up of materials for delivery.
Ø Updating of EAC (Estimate at Completion), ETC (Estimate to Complete), Committed Cost Reports with Project/Service Managers in Business systems to reflect correct data.
Ø Maintain all Sales Order & Procurement records in line with Project/Spares & ISO 9001:2008 & 29001:2010 Quality standard, Trade compliance & Record retention requirements of Emerson.
Ø Provide support for Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable as required.
Ø Logistic & Shipping documentation and co-ordination.
Ø Any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Line Manager.
Education and Qualifications:
Essential: Degree in Commerce, Business Management or equivalent
Desirable: Export/Import, Material Management will be added advantage.
Essential: 2-3 Years Experience in Project Support & Order Management Knowledge of PSS/AO Products & Business Systems (JDE/Oracle, SMS, Symphony/EET) Proven PC abilities & knowledge of MS Excel & MS Word. Good Communication Skills.
Desirable: Knowledge & Experience in Supply Chain & Procurement will be added advantage
