Job Description

Job Summary:

Incumbents are to devise and implement a strategy for the Company’s corporate communications to reflect its current priorities and enhance its reputation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement a corporate communications strategy, generating text, key messages and images which reflect the Company brand and can be used consistently across all platforms (speeches, print and online).

* Plan, write and produce corporate publications in support of a range of initiatives (e.g.
Institutional Partners, Global Priorities Programme, Event Publications)

* Plan and produce annually the Company Events to support Company's image to facilitate goodwill with the general community.

* Write marketing copy, commission design, print and photography. Advise on, and produce, supplementary material to support strategy during an event cycle, working alongside various relevant departments.

* Oversee the Company’s print portfolio, introducing regular reviews to ensure that all print is
targeted and used effectively across a range of audiences.

* Maintenance and supervision of the Company’s corporate identity, so the the Brand is presented consistently.

* Work closely with Print and Design Executives to ensure that the corporate identity of Company brand is in line with overall Brand guidelines.

* Work with colleagues in Human Resources to ensure that the Company “employer brand” is
represented within all internal staff and recruitment material.

* Any other duties, as requested.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders

* Hands on experience of producing high quality publications and print

* Knowledge of Company’s stakeholders and markets

* Ability to write in an appropriate register for particular audiences, adjusting style/content as

* Project management skills: design and print projects involving other members of staff, external designers and printers

* Organisational skills for managing events and ability to work to tight deadlines and within defined budgetary limits

Education and Experience:

* An HND or BAchelors degree in a discipline that fosters writing, analysis and research or other related field.

* Any other Training, Certification or Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Event Planning and related field will be an added advantage.

* Significant experience of working in brand management in a complex organisation.
