Job Description

You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of our corporate communications, communities and investor relations strategies.

You'll play a pivotal role in enhancing and protecting our reputation through effective media relations, stakeholder engagement, public affairs and issue management.

Working alongside the Head of Corporate Communications, you will build and maintain strong and long-lasting relationships with key journalists, external agencies and internal stakeholders. You'll also support the investor relations calendar and deliver annual and interim reports.

Additionally, you will optimise and oversee our corporate digital channels, including their website, Twitter account and blog.

As part of your role, you will be required to undertake occasional travel throughout the UK.


- Communications experience, ideally gained within a PLC environment
- Media relations, investor relations and press office experience
- Experience of, or involvement in, campaign management
- A proven track record of liaising and building effective relationships with external agencies and the press

As the Corporate Communications Manager, you must possess superb communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. Driven and determined, you must have a strong attention to detail, a results-orientated approach and fantastic relationship-building abilities.

Experience or an interest in the higher education sector would be beneficial to your application.
