This role has overall responsibility for the group's personnel and training strategy. He/She also contributes to overall company strategy and policy making by advising the board on the personnel and/or human resource implications of its decisions.
Overall control of the personnel/ human resource function.
Formulating talent management systems and strategies appropriate to the company's corporate mission and goals.
Keeping the company informed on personnel and employee-relations policies, as needed, to preserve and facilitate company strategy.
Improving management / employee communications, including mediating disputes and advising line managers on how to implement personnel policies.
