Reporting to the Regional Head of SEA you will have full P&L responsibility and will be responsible for leading, managing and ensuring the organization achieves its business objectives; i.e. profitability, business and customer growth, organizational development, new service introduction, continuous operational improvement, and working capital effectiveness. You will define, plan and lead programs of significant, quantifiable and sustained improvements across the organization locally. You will work closely with the Regional Head to continue implementing the growth strategy that will ensure the organization becomes the dominant market leader in Philippines. You will develop and implement the business strategy & plan, managing the current business to achieve the targeted financial and business objectives; and also to identify new opportunities for organic growth and focus resources on those opportunities. You will also identify and implement new growth revenue through new launches, cloning, acquisitions and strategic alliances. Through the further development of a highly motivated and results oriented team you will fully exploit existing business opportunities and seek out new business opportunities to ensure profitable growth in line with the company’s strategic plan. In addition, you will lead the development and implementation of a best in class operations and customer service structure. As a member of the senior management team, you will directly contribute to the growth and success of the business.
You must have a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 15 years of relevant experience in a Senior Management role in Integrated Logistics Management, Contract Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Experience in managing a sizeable business turnover is a must as is a track record of success in a management role, leading teams and delivering commercial and operational excellence and organizational growth.
You must have experience in not only hitting and exceeding significant targets but also be able to demonstrate the ability to develop talent and plan for succession. You must have previous experience in profit & loss management with strong commercial and business acumen. In-depth knowledge of Retail, FMCG industries is an advantage and you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of seniority. Occasional travelling is required in this role.
