Job Description

  • Perform Daily checks on both TCO and CVX whiteboards to ensure that they are up to date for all secured transactions; this includes following up with analysts and or IT as required
  • Marking invoices as paid in ICTS and EC from bank statements and ensuring these drops from the exposure of counterparties and updating invoice schedule accordingly
  • Perform Review of New and modified trade search and follow up with any pending or outstanding actions as required
  • Run EnergyCredit walk forward excession and deal reports, resolve any issues found
  • Negotiation and receiving Letters of Credit, being able to perform credit reviews and Issue Daily crude report, monitoring collateral requirement of ISDA counterparties
  • Weekly/Monthly/Annual reporting - Monthly L/C received Register report and Monthly London Credit metrics with explanation of any variances
  • Working with accounts teams to reduce any past dues in that show up in the London Credit metrics, document any action taken as required
  • Working with the team in the US to provide annual Allowance for Doubtful Accounts (AFDA) for the coming year
  • Any ahoc reporting as required
  • Completion of Compliance requests.
  • Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of trade credit concepts and practices
  • Technical credit expertise to assess counterparty creditworthiness, including analysis of financial statements, credit reports, industry reports, ad hoc info
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and interpretation of financial statements
  • Experience with trade letters of credit would be advantageous
  • Presents ideas in a clear and concise manner which guides the audience towards understanding
  • Strong decision skills are required, as decisions must often be made based on limited data and under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to consider impact of decisions on other aspects of the business
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel and eCredit and Energycredit.
