As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for effectively overseeing a portfolio of customers, managing collections and credit control activities and providing an excellent level of service at all times.
Accurately inputting customer details on our client's internal system, you will allocate payments against invoices and identify and investigate any errors or anomalies. Liaising with customers via the telephone and letters, you will undertake credit control duties and encourage the prompt payment of invoices.
Additionally, you will contact debtors to arrange and negotiate re-payment plans and ensure that all payments are made on time.
you must have previous experience of working in a customer-facing role with a strong emphasis on service excellence.
Equally important are your superb communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
As a Credit Controller, you must possess a strong customer focus, superb negotiation abilities and be adept at problem solving.
Self-motivated and persistent.
You must be highly organised and have the ability to prioritise your workload effectively.
Experience of working in a financial services environment would be beneficial to your application.
