Job Description

Job Purpose

 To take responsibility for the successful implementation and management of customer segmentation and engagement strategies that drive incremental revenue and stimulate business by delivering high impact customer insight support.  You will drive the roll-out and management of a Single Customer View (SCV), supported by a robust CRM strategy, to grow the relationship value (advocacy, tenure, revenue) of Emirates' customer base. Acting as central point of contact for all customer insights you will provide reporting, analysis and interpretation to inform our acquisition and retention campaigns and development of our passenger & Skywards member journey, including the identification of high/low value customer segments. Liaising with Corporate Communications and the Commercial Departments of EK to devise the best strategies for using customer insights to derive and action targeted multi-channel marketing, customer acquisition and retention campaigns will also be a key aspect of the role. Delivering in-depth analytical solutions, models, interpretation and segmentation of customer data that identify untapped business opportunities and recommend targeted sales activities that will impact on the strategic and operational direction.

Qualifications & Experience


  • Honours Degree from an internationally recognised university with emphasis on Statistics, Mathematics, Computing, Business, Marketing or Operational Research.
  • 8 years experience in a service industry as a functional head delivering corporate analytical research projects and developing and implementing customer data strategies.
  • Highly experienced in marketing analytics and the application of analytics to customer/prospect value generation.
  • Project management skills.
  • Technologically literate with a high level of database knowledge and PC skills, including programming SQL, BO and Excel.
  • Highly numerate.
  • High levels of logical/strategic thinking & problem solving skills.
  • Capable of handling multiple and complex situations simultaneously, taking into consideration the diverse culture within the Emirates Group.
  • Proven leadership, communications, negotiation, analytical and inter-personal/diplomatic skills.
