To provide technical support on data capture projects.
Manage all biometric enrollment systems and ensure optimum performance of the systems.
Keep inventory of all hardware owned by the unit.
Coordinate deployment of systems to site and prepare proper documentation of handover to project supervisors.
Keep knowledge base of technical-related issue resolutions for data capture projects.
Prepare training manuals and provide training to contract staff employed for data capture projects.
Research and recommend new areas of technological expertise with regards to biometric projects.
Weekly reports to Head, Data Capture Unit.
Manage enrollment software for each project and ensure it is customized to client requirements.
Execute minor software development duties.
Provide quality assurance on acquired software.
Prepare technical documentation on proposals for client projects.
Get quotation for equipment to be purchased, raise requisitions and make purchases as approved.
Provide technical support and ensure data capture team on site provides optimum support to clients.
Ensure resolution of all technical issues on on-going data capture projects.
Ensure proper documentation of all purchase orders, receipts and financial documentations on equipment purchased.
Coordinate with Finance team to ensure proper depreciation of all equipment purchased over the various projects executed by the unit.
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
Information Technology( Help Desk/Support)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem resolution skills.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant applications.
Open to frequent travels on the job.
Basic Computer Troubleshooting skills.
Basic Programming knowledge.
