As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design team and delivering creative and on-trend collections across both short and medium time frames. You will set an inspiring vision for the future of the company and effectively translate and communicate this to the team.
Heading up the Design Team, you will drive the design path in line with the buying and marketing functions and provide consistent product direction. Identifying seasonal trends early, you will focus on key items, volume lines, colour palettes and print direction and produce packs to communicate trends throughout the business.
You will utilise your flair for fashion and design to provide a balanced range for customers across all supply bases and act as an ambassador for the brand at all times. Additionally, you will monitor the overall performance of the Design Team to achieve company goals and develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and productivity.
- At least three years' design management experience, ideally gained within a similar e-tail fast-fashion organisation
- A proven track record of working with supply at source
- Strong CAD skills, including Adobe CS4, Photoshop and Illustrator
- An understanding of high street and catwalk trends
