To develop and grow the regional rail business in the Middle East and India region, focused on business development and customer relationship building.
Identify opportunities, lead positioning and development activities, identify and secure resources to bid and deliver prospects, and build a sustainable rail practice for the region.
Development and leadership of the regional rail business into a sustainable ongoing business:
Work with the RBGM and the Global Rail & Transit market Director to develop and implement an effective 5 year plan to grow the rail business in the region
Identification and capture of opportunities to that are in accordance with the 5 year plan
Recruitment and management of key resources to capture and delivery rail projects in the region
Oversee operational delivery of rail assignments, ias project director of specific assignments and carrying out client works as necessary.
Management Business Development and Overhead budgets in accordance with annual business plan, and participate in development of future business plan targets
Chartered Engineer status
15+ years experience in the rail market, ideally with relationships with existing clients or partners in the MEIR region
Experience in developing client relationships
Experience in business development and tendering for major projects in the rail environment
Experience in developing and leading a team on consulting staff
Proven network of contacts in the rail industry.
Experienced in major rail project delivery.
