To direct the efforts of Jumeirah SBU's in formulating long and short-term Revenue Management Strategies and to oversee their successful execution towards the advancement of RevPAR and RGI.
Deliver highly effective support to SBUs by conducting need-based Property Diagnostic Process visits in conjunction with other cluster leadership to ensure that strategies are executed effectively.
Close potential Revenue Management or system knowledge gaps if identified during the PDP's with an appropriate development plan.
Identify barriers to success and work effectively with key stakeholders (including Distribution Marketing, Loyalty Marketing, Sales and Operations) to overcome.
Leverage all available company resources (human, technological and otherwise) toward the maximisation of the SBUs' revenue streams, and ensure that leadership in each SBU does the same.
Proliferate the use of Jumeirah's proprietary Market Intelligence platform and actively contribute to its ongoing development, representing the particular considerations of the SBUs and their constituents.
Contribute to the professional development of SBU Revenue Management leadership and provide input in their annual performance reviews. Ensure that appropriate succession planning is carried out within the SBUs, safeguarding the sustainability of the discipline.
Actively participate in recruitment and selection of Revenue Management talent within the SBUs.
Support the Group Director Revenue Management in rolling out new RM initiatives, guidelines and policies and review their effective implementation on SBU level accordingly.
Proactively support new hotel openings, contributing to the creation and implementation of pre-opening plans for the Revenue Management discipline.
Be actively involved in the creation of weekly and monthly forecasts for catering, F&B and Spa performance and give recommendations for the optimisation of RevPASM, RevPASH and RevPAG.
Oversee cluster process for evaluating all opportunities for contracted business (group, wholesale, corporate negotiated, etc.) presented through the Sales department. Ensure that process enables high speed of response while maximising SBU profits. Conduct profitability analysis on specific pieces of potential business as warranted.
Chair monthly Cluster Revenue Strategy meetings in order to formulate and disseminate strategies and tactics. Ensure that prior decisions are re-visited in this forum in order to evaluate their effectiveness and promote learning.
Fully utilise the IDeaS RMS in relation to reporting and yielding capabilities and monitor the forecasting and resulting BAR recommendations closely.
Continually monitor the effectiveness of all products and their application to particular market circumstances. Lead the SBU revenue team in the revision of existing products and creation of new products accordingly.
A Bachelor's degree in business related field and at least 5 years of hotel Revenue Management experience, developed in at least two different properties. At least 2 of these years must be as an Area or Cluster Director of Revenue Management.
Candidates who hold a MBA or post graduate university degree and have 5 years experience as an Area or Regional Director of Revenue Management or similar position with multi - unit responsibility will be viewed as highly desirable
