
EHS Manager in England - London, United Kingdom
Job Description
Coach & develop the in country team to deliver 1st Quartile performance.
Act as a member of the business unit leadership team.
Develop and cultivate positive relationship with external agencies and regulators.
Design and deliver an effective EHS risk management programme appropriate to the Ghana business.
Responsibilities
Establish a register of EHS risks and design and implement an EHS Management system to manage these.
Ensure the adequacy of EHS resources to support the business plan.
Prepare and manage the in country EHS budget and workplan.
Ensure that an effective relationship is established with the regulatory authorities and main contractors.
Support the EHS Corporate requirements as required and ensure both lessons learned and best practices are shared.
Requirements
Degree or equivalent in an engineering or earth science discipline. A formal qualification in H&S or E preferred.
Extensive experience in EHS Management.
Passion for EHS
Promotion of EHS values and Tullow behaviours
Competent with computer packages
Knowledge of operational and technical EHS issues
Well networked in the industry so that best practices may be sourced and applied as required.
