Job Description

Our Environmental and Social Impact Services team is growing. Supported by the wider skills of over 30,000 staff worldwide we provide a remarkable range of environmental, planning, design and management services to our clients.
To achieve our goal of growth we are seeking a highly motivated Senior EIA Project Manager with EIA project management experience (>7 years) particularly for the upstream oil and gas, power and/or petrochemicals sector in developing economies.
Reporting to the Environmental Services Business Group (ESBG) Area Operations Manager, you will manage projects, bids, client relationships and coordinate project team members to meet business needs.
With excellent communication skills, you will have a genuine interest in finding creative and innovative ideas and the hunger to extend your own skills and knowledge. Responsibilities within the role will include the ability to manage multidisciplinary EIA project teams.
Key aspects are to lead the development of quality deliverables including project and proposal preparation, management of client relationships, budget control, and co-ordination of in-house and external specialists.
The candidate would be expected to lead business development (client relationship management, proposal and pre-qualification preparation) for EIA services with strategic clients.
A high level of communication skills, both written and verbal will be required. The successful candidate must have initiative, energy, enthusiasm and commitment, be interested in travel globally (as required), have attention to detail, quality orientated and be flexible in work approach.
Collaborate with other business groups


A social science, engineering or environmental-based degree.
Experience in Environmental Impact Assessment.
Proven environmental consulting or regulatory experience with demonstrated team management experience.
Experience and capability in Environmental and Social Impact Assessment co-ordination and in gaining environmental consents and to have knowledge of environmental legislation and policy.
Strong project and proposal management skills are essential.
Strong interpersonal skills, good client management skills and the interest and ability to develop client relationships.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including pro-active management of client relationships, effective stakeholder engagement, and ability to write concise and effective proposals and technical reports.
Good computer skills, MS Office suite.
EU Citizen or eligibility to work in the UK/EU
Track record of coordinating successful EIAs and gaining Environmental consents / permits (as applicable)
