As part of the Service Operations organisation, the Employee Relations team provides support on ER issues across the UK.

The team works with line managers and Area HR teams to execute business strategy through planning, advising against and delivering appropriate ER approaches for groups and individuals.

It also works with the UK ER Director and BU/Function managers to align workplace practices with company, business and legislative requirements to maximise performance and deliver standardisation in order to support the shift to a simple, scalable enterprise.


As ER Consultant you will:

Provide business focussed pragmatic workplace practice solutions to support the move to standardisation and the creation of the right environment for a diverse and inclusive workplace in a transforming organisation.

Maintain awareness of employee relations/industrial relations good practice, benchmark the best in the region and align the Company?s approach and solutions to match and exceed that standard.

Provide specialist advice to the ER Specialists as required on complex cases and liaise with the relevant legal representatives to ensure that risk is always kept to a minimum.

Ownership of any statutory consultation relationships which enable good employee relations and/or legal compliance.

Work closely with the Service Operations and Business Operations HR teams to understand their requirements and any upcoming issues within their client group.

Lead on collective negotiations and work together with the ER Specialists to ensure the UK ER team acts as a specialist centre of employee relations excellence for all the businesses in the country.

Note: The ideal location for this role is Derby, however, it could also be based in either Warwick or Bristol.
