Job Description

The Entrepreneur of the Year Global Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the EOY country programs around the world. This involves:
• Maintaining the EOY global network
• Providing guidance to EOY teams launching new EOY programs
• Assisting with alumni activities, including events around the world
• Overseeing the World Entrepreneur Of The Year Award event, the culminating event of World Entrepreneur Of the Year, and the flagship event of EY
• Ensuring consistent and compliant use of the EOY brand around the world
• Facilitating the EOY network via regular network calls and email updates

Entrepreneur of the Year is the signature marketing program for EY, reinforcing the reputation of EY, underlining our commitment in the entrepreneurship space, and celebrating the successes of entrepreneurs on a global scale. Entrepreneur of the Year is a high calibre, high profile year-long program, which generates a substantial amount of publicity, and a resulting, and significant, pipeline of work.
The World Entrepreneur of the Year Award is the culminating event of more than 60 EOY country programs. The EOY Global Program Manager will ensure the delivery of a high quality, seamless event, working with the World Entrepreneur Of The Year Forum Manager to incorporate a series of high calibre speakers, high profile attendees and country winners, delivering a blended event comprising both business focused discussions with a celebration of success for the current year country winners, including the judging and selection process and induction of each country winner into the World Entrepreneur Of The Year Hall of Fame.
The position reports to the SGM Global Markets Leader.


Internal facing activities – Entrepreneur Of The Year
• Operate as the face of the EOY across EY (be the “go to” person)
• Communicate regularly with the EOY Global Network to ensure consistency, share guidelines and best practices
• Develop and manage global alumni events – including World Economic Forum activities and SGF international alumni activities in Palm Springs
• Work with the global branding team to ensure consistent and appropriate use of EOY marketing material
• Support the identification of new program opportunities and the development of under-utilized/under developed EOY programs to ensure a best in class approach is adopted at all times 
• Develop/maintain a global database of EOY winners and alumni for marketing purposes
• Develop/maintain an EOY toolkit to encourage standardization across all EOY programs

Internal facing activities – World Entrepreneur Of The Year:
• Work with the Global SGM leadership team to develop the agenda and content, providing regular updates to ensure buy in and support 
• Co-manage the WEOY team along with the WEOY Forum Manager, but with direct responsibility for the Awards related elements, which include logistics and registration, production, judges, awards, sponsors, staffing, budget, marketing and communications
• Oversee the build and monitoring of the budget, ensuring cost effectiveness and value for money
• Co-ordinate the input and support required from the EOY Country Leaders and EOY Program Managers in respect of preparations for WEOY Award
• Work with the WEOY Forum Manager to ensure the inclusion of appropriate EY leadership, and support the allocation of suitable roles for those leaders
• Work with the different functions and groups to ensure delivery of all elements of the program (e.g. video, production, marketing, PR, digital, knowledge)
• Ensure that lessons learned and insights gained are shared on an annual basis and pro actively reflected on an ongoing basis
• Establish/maintain a shared online data hub (CHS or similar) for the distribution of knowledge and materials
• Assist in the identification of key audiences: internal and external to whom communications on all WEOY related events should be distributed
• Develop/maintain an approach to the evaluation of the event, including metrics and performance related information

External facing activities:
• Support the Identification of sponsors in so that each annual event has at least one key sponsor 
• Work with the WEOY Forum Manager to Identify a list of speakers, and work with the relevant agencies to support the securing of those key note speakers 
• Work with the WEOY Forum Manager to Identify suitable entertainment options and work with the relevant agencies to support the securing of that entertainment 
• Work with the WEOY speaker coordinator to identify WEOY alumni for speakers/panelists for the event

· Ability to establish rapport with people across all geographies / parts of EY 

· A working knowledge of the SGM space and what we want to achieve / deliver in that space
