Job Description

    The candidate is responsible for the smooth running of the office premises and the carrying out of the administrative duties to support the teams/staff. This includes delivering direct support to the MD/CEO and participating in specific projects to enable improvements to the overall organisation and strategic development of the company as a whole.

    The position will have a high level of Information Technology and Business development content. Strong business understanding and good analytical skills are required as well as exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills.

    It is expected that the candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to co-ordinate internal projects across the company, as well as support the IT/Business Development team and managing the post of administrative assistant/receptionist.

    Candidate must be proactive and confident, intelligent and mentally agile, able to keep a fast pace with the CEO. Upbeat and energetic, you should enjoy working in a fast paced, professional environment and be motivated by getting things done.

    Be highly proficient and self-sufficient on IT applications and infrastructure (e.g. software, hardware,mobile apps, web, servers, and video-Conferencing).


    First point of contact for internal and external enquiries including opening, filtering and replying (if applicable) to internal and external mail/emails

    Strong communication skills - oral and written are essential and must be able to convey the culture of the business through the tone of communication.

    Provide day to day PA support to the MD/CEO & General Manager, including diary management, meetings and presentations.

    Operate as a filter to the CEO - this requires you to absorb and manage large amounts of information so you can operate as a representative of the company.

    Candidate needs to be extremely organised and efficient, with excellent attention to detail, and a calm and confident demeanour.

    Assist with compiling confidential commercial reports for presentation to management and executive partners.

    Develop/provide regular analysis/reporting to support broader financial and commercial matters e.g. industry trends analysis, competitor analysis, as required

    Handle Preparation of presentations and analysis for both internal and external presentations e.g. E-learning/Software company presentations.

    Lead and/or support (as relevant) specific projects to enable improvement in the overall group administration services e.g. travel booking, hotel procurement, ICT systems and process improvements.

    Provide administrative/presentational/analytical support for strategic developments/initiatives led by the MD and/or GM e.g. review of acquisitions, development of strategic plan, managing specific litigation or complex contract issues.

    Process invoices / delivery notes including scanning and coding of invoices

    Ensure visitors are greeted appropriately and meeting rooms are set up


    LLB Law or BA English

    Experienced in PA role with substantial business experience

    Desktop skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

    50 - 60 wpm typing and a good eye for detail, grammar and spelling.

    Strong interpersonal and relationship building, communication and influencing skills

    Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure

    Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel & PowerPoint

    Good keyboard skills and typing

    Ability to learn numerous additional internal applications

    Planning and organisational skills including the ability to prioritise

    Ability to work independently under general instructions

    Numerate and able to analyse, collate and organise data in a logical manner.

    Must be able to deal with people of all levels.

    Any other duty to ensure the office operates efficiently.

Working Hours

Typical working hours would be 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday; however flexibility to support the CEO or the company on occasion will be required.


    Salary compensation is between 55,000 -75,000 depending on experience.

    Benefits include; bonus subject to achieving set objectives and KPI's, along with private medical insurance scheme.
