Facilities managers maintain the buildings and grounds of an organization, directing staff and overseeing the upkeep of equipment and supplies. Facilities managers make sure the buildings and grounds are maintained, which entails daily and weekly cleaning schedules as well as determining and scheduling repairs, renovation projects, waste reduction improvements and safety inspections
•Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facility expansion.
•Plans budgets and schedules facility modifications, including cost estimates.
•Inspects construction and installation progress.
•Initiates planned maintenance programs for a variety of office equipment.
•Manages the receiving function.
•Manages preventive maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC and office equipment.
•Manages the telecommunication function.
•Oversees the parking program.
•Oversees the cleaning and maintenance of facility.
•Develops and administers the annual budget
•Day to day management of site/facilities
•Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other technical and non technical staffs
•Responding to emergencies or urgent issues that may arise
•Preparing work and maintenance schedule
•Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site
•Organizing and supervising of materials and human resources
•Preparing reports as required.
Candidate must be a degree holder in any social science or maintenance engineering field with at least 2-3 years of experience in facility management or related field.
