Food technologists plan the manufacture of food and drink products and can work in a wide range of settings, including kitchens, factories, laboratories and offices
Main Responsibilities are:
Applicants must have a minimum of B.Sc degree in related field such as Food science/Technology, Food/Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Human Nutrition.
Key Skills of Food Technologists:
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Good teamworking abilities as well as being confident, independent workers.
They should also have meticulous attention to detail, especially with regard to food hygiene and safety. Successful candidates will have strong analytical and numerical skills and a real interest in food production.
