Functions as the face of the Organization, also in a supporting role in a team.

Attending to the front office

 

Responsibilities

Provide office support services in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the Office

Receive, direct and relay telephone messages and fax messages

Pick up and deliver the mail

Open and date stamp all general correspondence

Develop and maintain a current and accurate filing system

Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings/ conferences

Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies

Respond to public inquiries

Provide secretarial support and clerical duties

Monitor the use of supplies and equipment

Coordinate the repair and maintenance of office equipment

Answer all incoming calls and handle all callers’ inquiries whenever possible

Re-direct calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required

Greet, assist and/or direct staff, visitors and the general public

Support the Executive Office, HOD’s and staff as requested

Minimum of OND in any field

Able to multitask and highly teachable

Skillful in interpersonal, time management, communication, and problem solving skills

Very good computer skills on internet, MS office.
