Reporting to: Managing Director
The role will focus on the growth and development of the Giant Beverages business. The main purpose will be to focus on driving profitable growth, achieving net sales and net margin targets assigned annually by Management, while at the same time building the company’s corporate and product brands.
The development and execution of the commercial strategy of the organisation in order to maximise all commercial opportunities for company’s businesses.
Understanding thy Nigerian beverages landscape - consumer Insights, customers, competitor’s insights, retail environment and competitor’s brands in order to develop a clear-cut business proposition for building and growing our brands
Work with the management learn to carry out business analysis as appropriate to identify areas of potential commercial growth and opportunities in sales range management, purchasing, margin and profit
Extensive management of our Marketing Sales and Strategic Channel Business Development units to deliver on organisational and business objectives
Relationship management - working closely with specific channels to drive collaborative business process
Ensure delivery of sales and profit targets
Desired Skills and Experience
Proven commercial truck record of business development successes
Sales-driven and motivated by challenging targets and own results
At least 15 years of experience in sales and marketing roles with at least 5 years in FMCG
Strong organisational skills cite structured approach to prosperity
Hands-on approach, entrepreneurial, team-player, proven people manager
Tech-savvy (internet, mobile, social media)
