AOS Orwell, an integrated indigenous oilfield services company in Nigeria offering well construction and engineering services to the oil and gas sector, has the following vacancy for a suitably qualified person to join its Process Management Division.
This position is responsible for after sales support of Industrial products / Consumer Durables with P&L responsibility for a region. Managing a team of 10 to 12 persons, the role requires people management skills and leadership qualities to formulate business strategy to transform existing service business into an independent business unit with P&L responsibility. This person is required to ensure rapid growth of the business.
The ideal candidate must have a good first degree in Instrumentation /Electronics and be familiar with business systems like Oracle /SAP for management of orders, processes monitoring and control. Six Sigma Certification is an added advantage.
The candidate must be technically and commercially competent; must have expertise in handling operations above $20 million. Must be familiar with latest ISO and Health & Safety standards in the process management industry. Must have an excellent knowledge of process and standards in process automation. Experience in handling large projects and extensive experience in managing factory / workshop operations, processes and procedures is a pre-requisite for this role. Should be able to plan site visits as per agreed SLAs and in line with revenue plan. Must show evidence of building, developing and sustaining customer relationships with effective customer management. Must show evidence of managing contracts for large multiyear service orders.
