The successful candidate will be working within a busy team who are responsible for managing the purchase contracting process for the procurement of parts for the Boeing Chinook helicopter and maintaining supplier performance. Procurement agents are responsible for negotiating full terms, conditions and price for purchased services and products. With support, training and supervision form the manager and an assigned mentor, the succesful candiates will be involved in: Preparation of RFP, Price Analysis Analysing supplier proposals Managing Pre-Negotiation Review Board activity Negotiating and preparing agreed terms and conditions for SI approval Assisting Procurement Financial Analysis in preparation of supplier proposal Managing provision of urgent operational requirements Examples of Projects that the interns will be working on: Development of in-country metrics process for supply chain Developing, managing and delivering cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain Continuing development of Supplier Management Plans and Management of Suppliers for UK Transition Strategy for Provision of UK Repair Sources .
Ability to collect, organise, synthesise, and analyse data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources at the work group level.
